ABOUT
Reach to Teach began its journey in Gujarat in 2007, evolving from a grassroots initiative into a scalable education-focused organization working closely with State Governments. Founded by Sanjeev Gandhi with a vision to educate out-of-school tribal children, the organization initially introduced mobile classrooms and community-based learning centres to build access and engagement. Over time, it strengthened its approach by integrating with government schools, focusing on foundational learning, teacher training, and community ownership. With the launch of structured education programmes and its transition into a Section 8 organization in 2018, Reach to Teach expanded its impact by collaborating directly with state education departments. Today, it works across multiple states, driving systemic change in government school education and improving learning outcomes at scale.
