Rajanna Foundation (Erstwhile Rajanna Trust registered in 1999) registered in 12th January 2023. Rajanna Foundation is Non-governmental organization (NGO) and Philanthropic arm of Amara Raja Group, serving as a vehicle to channelize the Group’s contributions towards its social responsibility in the fields of Education & Literacy, Skills Development, Health & Nutrition, Environment & Natural Resource Management, Food and Agriculture, Art & Culture, Village Development, Employment, Rural Development & Poverty Alleviation, Women Development & Empowerment and more.

Project Details
The RAJANNA FOUNDATION is committed to conducting business with a strong social conscience and a focus on sustainable development. Our responsibility extends beyond commercial success to the communities and environments we serve. Even before CSR became a mandate, we consistently invested in rural upliftment by promoting livelihoods, advancing skill development, and strengthening infrastructure.
Through Foundation, we drive our vision of an educated and empowered India. We operate three CBSE-affiliated schools in Karakambadi(Tirupati District) and Petamitta and Diguvamagham (Chittoor District), Andhra Pradesh. In FY 2025–26, these institutions provided quality education to over 5,035 students (55,398 Students benefited since inception) , with more than 80% from marginalised communities across 240 villages. The schools are equipped with robust infrastructure, including 152 digital classrooms with IFP/IWB, laboratories, and facilities that support holistic development, enabling students to excel academically and pursue diverse career pathways.
In Primary Healthcare, we address critical gaps in rural medical access through a network of health centres, treating over 17,241 outpatients and conducting 14,482 diagnostic tests. Patients treated:2,34,635 & diagnostic tests conducted:1,86,855 since inception. Targeted outreach for women, monthly specialist camps in collaboration with Amara Hospital, and ambulance services ensure accessible and comprehensive care.
Our Rural Infrastructure initiatives focus on improving living standards in adopted panchayats through the development of roads, safe drinking water systems, sanitation facilities, street lighting, and community assets. Under Water stewardship, we have constructed 23 check dams and desilted three major tanks, 27,774 benefiting around 60 villages per year by enhancing water availability for domestic and agricultural use.
Through Social Forestry, we promote environmental sustainability by developing green cover across a hillock and adjoining land, with over 72,750 saplings planted, while also supporting tribal livelihoods. Aligned with the vision of Skilling India, our Skill Development Centres(ARSDC1&2) have seen 1886 students completed courses including 542 women and placed in Amara Raja Group since inception . 5947 students enrolled since inception, with 135 students establishing their own enterprises and generating sustainable livelihoods reflecting our focus on inclusive growth.
Further strengthening community engagement , the donation of an Advanced Life Support ambulance to the Government Hospital, Chittoor ,Construction of School at P.Kothakota, Visitor waiting hall at Sub-Registrar office Pakala reinforces our commitment to community well-being.
