ABOUT
Population Services International India is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1980 that works to improve health outcomes for underserved populations. It focuses on family planning, maternal/child health, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and sanitation through social marketing, franchising, and behavioral change communication.
Project Purpose
• To ensure early detection of diarrheal cases and complete treatment as per guidelines
-To ensure high coverage of distribution and usage of Zinc & ORS in the children
-To help the government in demand aggregation and community mobilization in campaigns like
-Stop Diarrhea: through awareness generation involving existing community groups.
• To contribute to the building capacity of service providers, CHWs, and caregivers
• To strengthen and use various existing convergence platforms for multi-stakeholder participation in the Diarrhea prevention program for sustainable outcomes.
• To ensure active participation of private providers in diarrheal treatment using available ORS option
